Trump administration is thinking that Pak has some magic wands to solve the Afgan problem!!!

US /India /Iran /Israel have mutually created an anti Pakistan Afghanistan and built army of mercenaries to attack Pakistani radar sites. which shows intentions to invade Pakistan are very real.
They just are waiting for a weak Pakistan army.

Kashmir was a princely state when pak attacked it. It was not merged into india earlier.
so you attacked an unarmed territory. India entered later on.

because kashmir's king was neutral and was hindu. Kashmir was not formally inducted into india till 1958,it had its own PM till then.There were many states in india, who became part of india much later.

India did not become union just after 1947.

I don't think China will allow it as weak Pakistan will allow enemies of China to create serious problems.

Trump is not a diplomat but a businessman ,he do what he do best ,all these tough are just to make India and Indians happy so he can sell more weapons and carve out more investments from rich Indians .there will be more threats in future , its very important that Pakistan keep its close allies like China ,turkey ,Iran in confidence .. And keep contacts with Russians through diplomatic ways

Listen to them, make certain adjustments in the Afghan policy without giving up on the core interests and let things move on. The issue here is that nobody wants to lose. Pakistan has to delicately maneuver around this by letting Americans win some but keep our long term interests intact as well. I do not see this as a zero sum game.

The recent Pak-Afghan meet in Kabul was an indication of this. Americans can afford to be arrogant in their public statements, Pakistan needs to work the private/behind the door channels.

Pak army did not enter Kashmir until much later , it was locals who rose up against the British imposed puppet the so-called maharaja.
