Trump likely to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital next week

In certain periods Jews were allowed. You've cherry picked one.

Jordan refused to allow Jews to visit their holy site until Jerusalem was liberated in 1967. That's where this famous picture comes from because it's the first time they were able to stand at the western wall.

This action is directly related to the expected life of israel.i don't think they will exist in future but this decision brings all Arabs closer and it will eventually erase entire Israel from the sacred land of palestine.as I mentioned in numerous posts,Israel have no chance of survival against Arabs.it is America that is holding Israel firmly but this decision will create trouble for Israel.

If the Muslims today value their strategic interests more than they value God, what makes anyone think they will act on behalf of Jerusalem? They will not even act on behalf of Mecca and Medina.

And it's not about the situation being unstable across the region, even if there was stability nothing would happen. It's about the peoples values todays.

This level of power is unseen in world history.
US are simply the most powerful country of all mankind. I really thought it is a masquarde of Trump administration, but they really recognized Jerusalim as Isreal capital.
It is funny how Americans dont give a shit about Muslim world, EU, Russians... they will enjoy this journey for a long long time.

Russian recently recognised West Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

I dont speak about that act, but all historical processes that took place right now.
Just a year ago, I though it is a begining of the end for American supremacy, but after destruction of Russian economy, after new economic growth, after silencing whole Muslim world, after dissolving of Paris agreement, I can just see how much they are really powerful.

Arrogant, rich, powerful. Simply they dont give a fuuck.

That was a mistake in the first place.

True, but they also supported East Jerusalem as the capital of a Palestinian state
Either way no one cares, neither for their recognition of West Jerusalem nor for their recognition of East Jerusalem.

Pakistan adds its voice to growing swell of criticism

Islamabad has expressed its "strong opposition and condemnation" at the US decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, according to a statement from Pakistan's Foreign Ministry.

“Pakistan shares the international outrage and is deeply concerned over the implications of this decision for international peace and security, especially in the Middle East. Pakistan calls upon the UN Security Council to take cognizance of this situation and take steps in accordance with the UN Charter,” the statement said.

It urged the US to "revisit its decision as soon as possible in order to avoid the potentially grave repercussions in the region and beyond" and welcomed an announcement by Turkey to convene an Extraordinary Islamic Summit next week to discuss the issue.

Trump's decision has united much of the fractious Islamic world in opposition, drawing criticism from Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan, Egypt and Turkey, among other countries.
