Actually its pretty clear that a lot of the tests were against a non-separating target ie one with a fixed warhead and no countermeasures,also in one aborted test [FTT-11 (December 11, 2009)] were they clearly state what sort of target they were engaging ie "This was to have been the first THAAD test against a “complex separating” short-range missile target" and "The target would have had “a relatively low infrared signature and radar cross section.” so I have little doubt they would certainly have detailed something like an actively maneuvering warhead.The simple fact is that thaad has never been realistically tested against both the types of missiles and the sorts of deployment strategies that iran would likely use,personally I get the feeling that this system was rushed into operational deployment some what prematurely.
