This is a cold case. The person and detail of the case is changed so as not to divulge actual case detail, but the manner of death and the circumstance remain unchanged.
Once again, this would require member input as to what is the next step and I will tell you accordingly and let's see if we can solve this case.
The Case
On an August morning, a car was found abandoned on the side of the highway, the hazard light was on, and the car is out of gas, there were no one inside the car, and there are no one standing around waiting on a tow truck. The driver, Carla, is nowhere to be seen.
Carla, a 17 years old woman, was heading home form her boyfriend on a 5 am drive, by 7 am, her car was found abandoned on the road, but nobody seems to care or even notice that, people just thought maybe someone is stranded, and tow truck is on the way, not much else to think about, this happen often enough. But what set this different than on road distress is that, Carla, was found approximately 2 weeks later, naked and very much dead and decomposed in a secluded location inside the city, where her boyfriend lives.
The Circumstance.
Brief investigation turn up leads that started to fill the story. Carla had spend the previous night with her boyfriend Lee in town, Carla borrowed her mother's car, and her mother told her to fill up the car because it would not have enough gas to make the return trip.
Carla leaves Lee's house in about 5 am, Lee was sleeping at the moment and Carla left just as Lee's 2 friend, Jack and Rodney come to Lee's place and ask him to go fishing. Those are the people who last seen Carla alive, leaving Lee's house and driving back to her home.
At about 5;30 am, the unavoidable happens, Carla ran out of gas in the middle of the highway not far from Lee's home, next to a restaurant and the entrant of a local hospital. Carla ran her mum to pick her up, but her mum was too busy to leave her own engagement.
Then there were 5 more calls that follow, 4 to Lee's friend Jack and one is an unknown number all 5 call went unanswered with the last call near where her body was found. Then her phone went silence. And she vanished into thin air.
Person of Interest/Suspects
There are 3 person of interest in this case. All 3 were the one that last seen Carla alive.
1.) Lee - The boyfriend.
The Boyfriend was one of the last man saw her alive on that day, she was driven from her boyfriend out home, Carla claim to her mother she was with her girl friends when she left the house, but she was instead spending a night at Lee's place. His account with Carla is that he was out with her partying all night, and then get some food from a local fast-food restaurant (Which her car was found 400 meters away form this location later), then got back to his place, spend the night, smoke pot and fool around, and then both went to sleep.
Carla leave his place at 5 or 530 am when he was still asleep, she ask her for gas money and she got a couple of dollar from his wallet and she left.
2.) Jack - Lee's Workmate and Friend
Jack was at Lee's place just as Carla is leaving, Jack wanted to invite Lee for fishing, but the former is too tired to go, and Jack and his friend Rodney leave approximately the same time as Carla.
Jack and Rodney saw Carla car on the side of the road at approximately 7 am that morning, and both claim they drove to the nearest gas station and to see if Carla was there, then return to Lee's place and tell Lee about Carla's car, Lee call Carla, the call went to voice mail and subsequently all 3 went out fishing in the afternoon.
3.) Rodney - Jack's friend.
Rodney is a workmate with Lee, but was not a friend with Lee, on the other hand, he is the passenger of Jack and he saw Carla get into her own car on that morning. Rodney is a middle age man, and known to have a violent temper and when interview with the police, he seems unconcern with Carla's disappearance (Back when Carla's body is yet to discover)
He have the same story as Jack, he saw Carla's car, check the local gas station, off to see Lee afterward and all went out fishing
