A person can have a different origin and different nationality. We have a lot of people who were born in areas that are part of coterminous India and migrated into Pakistan around partition time and they are Pakistanis but they were not born in coterminous Pakistan but their loyalties are with Pakistan.

That's irrelevant , if you are born In India before 2004 ,then you are a defecto Indian . It doesn't matter if you are a Pakistani or a alien from mars . As long as you do not pledge for a other nationality your citizenship is still valid.
