In power or before power, our leadership always tried to get the backing of powerful Nations, and those nations will not back you unless you give in return. The war on terror another issue, I remember back in 2001, most political parties and religious parties were against sending army to secure OUR borders, the PML N was against military operations till right at the end when the military just attacked the terrorists and then PML N gave a statement that we support it. PPP has been corrupt but Zardari knows how to give and take, he did support war on terror with Benazir. PTI was always against the war in waziristan, and Malakhand etc, we had militants over taking our land and political parties were in bed with him, because the nations supporting the militants tried their best to start a civil war, militants, political parties v army v people. But thankfully it never happened. Major religious parties were bashing the military.

Our people always forget the history and then get played by the same people but thankfully our armed forces are aware, they may make mistakes but they know their job is to protect Pakistan.
