Just wondering why they have not reached out to Reutech for radar technology. Reutech is one of the leaders in this field and will provide TOT as well.

TPS77 MRR was considered for replacement of MPDRs and YLC-6. However, I highly doubt that USG will authorize sale and support this in Direct Commercial Sale, and FMS is closed for PK. PAF is better off looking for a similar system they can customize with TOT

Most of their radar systems are ITAR, and RRS have not tried to market their systems that hard. What they have was good for Pk 10 years ago but I think Pakistan would not buy anything less than AESA and active beam scan for Air Defence sensors.

I dont think Reutech is either authorized to, or interested in, the Pakistani market.

Authorisation is not an issue; they are authorised; they are looking for business. Their primary forte is around communications - they took over my former company Grinel which was a leader in this area; with main competitor being Harris.

Tps 77 mrr shown here has less range

For detection of aircraft/jets it has a same range of older TPS-77, 150 km range is for detection of CM/UAV/UCAV/ precision guided munitions etc etc @Syed Hammad Ahmed

The European (i.e., Leonardo, Saab & Hensoldt) options might be alternatives, but they're probably contingent on securing a line of credit from the supplier (or supplier's government).
