The result is either Hillary or Donald at the top.
Well at least the people have a choice whereas mainland Chinese none. The only thing they can do is immigrating to other countries. One of the favorites is evil America :woot:

This is the fault of their global elites. If they were not so eager to put Hillary to the throne, I think there will be better candidates for both party. Since with the reputation of Hillary Clinton, every able candidate can beat her in the election. Even now Trump can beat her if there were a fair election without rigged. Back to the topic, I'm doubtful that Hillary will drop TPP in favour to the poor according to her past experience. But empty promise is still a promise, right.

One word: Money.

How they got all the money while the rest suffered under poverty, that's a topic for another book.

Easier immigration policies also help. East Asian countries are not known for being havens to immigrants for some good reasons.

The fact, however, remains that the best the US can produce recently has been demagogues and outright corrupts.

bro, the best and the brightest come to America. I don´t think they are low IQ.

Delusion of the US as usual. The same applied to South Vietnamese. Many still saying the best and brightest North Vietnamese emigrated all to the South, leaving the uneducated and barbaric to remain. Hehe, that' why North Vietnam easily beat the South in the war, and now in every things from business, education to science and tech by a large gap.

In addition, although the US keep receiving some brilliant guys from other countries, they cannot represent for 300 millions people. I am talking about the mass, not special case like Ngo Bao Chau.

that is American way of life. you either rise or fall. socialism is practiced elsewhere not in America. as for politics, there is a common saying in western democracy: all politicians are liars, unless they can prove otherwise.

I think TPP no longer matters to China.

Bilaterally and multilaterally, China is opening up the region for greater trade and communication. Think about CAFTA and the OBOR.

The US is a whistling the old tune, an ideologically rigid, militarist power, at best. That, for all I care, is in fact a very anti-thesis of a government like Vietnam, which is, by ideology, progressive and pragmatist.

That explains why recently Vietnam opened up, reciprocally, almost 97% of its market to China's products with lower or zero tariff.
I myself still think that US will sign TPP soon, I think US is smart enough to know that they will not able to contain CN without TPP.

Only TPP can kick Cnese product out of US market and push CN economy in deeper trouble when can not sell any valuable things to TPP nations

With a low-IQ, poorly educated but highly paid workforce, the US cannot compete either with China (for high-end things) or with Vietnam (for lower end products). This way or that way, the US is doomed.

Bro,your thinking is just like Jpese soldier in WW2, they believed that US soldiers were just play boys, no guts to fight in battle field etc...

And all knew that US throwed 02 nukes to force JP surrender.

TOKYO —
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe pledged Monday to accelerate his mix of policies to prop up Japan's economic recovery and speed up parliamentary approval of the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade pact.

In his policy statement opening the 66-day parliamentary session, Abe outlined an extra set of stimulus measures to help the economic recovery and spur more consumer and corporate spending. He aims to push through a supplementary budget within weeks to implement the measures in the package, which is worth 28 trillion yen ($2.8 billion).

Abe reiterated that the global economy faces “major risks” such as uncertainty over Britain's exit from the European Union and the slowdown of emerging economies including China, stressing the need to accelerate his Abenomics policy mix of fiscal stimulus and structural reforms.

“We'll further accelerate Abenomics and maximize the pace of moving out of deflation,” he said.

Abe said the TPP is a key part of his growth policies, though he did not set a specific deadline for parliamentary approval of the trade pact, apparently amid uncertainty ahead of the U.S. presidential election in November. He only hinted at a timing of TPP approval sometime later this year.

“An early entry into force of the TPP will be a big chance and we will aim to quickly achieve a 1 trillion yen [$10 billion] target [of annual agricultural exports],” Abe said.

He said he seeks to reach a basic economic partnership agreement with the European Union by the end of December, a target that Japan has previously set.

Abe highlighted the economy in his address, while touching on his long-cherished but divisive political goal of revising Japan's U.S. occupation-era constitution. He urged a national debate as a step to gain support for a revision, but mentioned the constitution only briefly at the end of his speech.

that is American way of life. you either rise or fall. socialism is practiced elsewhere not in America.

In fact, if you study US public policy, it is pretty much a socialist model from healthcare to housing and education.

The problem is that now socialism is being applied to rich corporations more than the poor.

I myself still think that US will sign TPP soon, I think US is smart enough to know that they will not able to contain CN without TPP.

I do not think TPP can contain China anymore. China has made serious inroads into the economies of every country in the region. Belt and Road is taking root.

Even if the US signs t under new administration, they will be more aggressive toward you, the other members, to protect their interests such as ensuring employment.

Only TPP can kick Cnese product out of US market and push CN economy in deeper trouble when can not sell any valuable things to TPP nations

It is not quite easy to simply outsource from China to, say, Vietnam. There is already a complete chain of production in the set up with billions of dollars investment and infra. Besides, no other country can really provide the same logistics and quality workforce as China.

Industry 1.0 may move to lower economies, it is already moving, but, value added cannot move outside China. Apple is losing market in China but they are still investing. No TPP can change that.

Abe failed badly persuading Duterte to go anti-China. I think Trump will shove another Plaza Accord on Japan through him.

It's very hard to take you seriously if after the many years living in my country and you still haven't woken up. There are plenty of alternative news networks in German language to get informed, but, oh well, the truth is hard to swallow, particularly for people like you who thought you have escaped communism and now live in a free world just to find out that you are being enslaved by the banking system. Worse, you even by their shadow puppet show that is our democratic voting system.

U read the news that many CN companies such as CN steel and textile companies has been moving or investing more VN to prepare for TPP, right ??

So, it means that, in TPP, VN will really able to provide the same logistics and quality workforce as China thanks to many CN companies moving to VN. VNese will have more jobs, US will still get good quality products at low price, some of CN companies still survive cos they move to VN....only CN mainlander suffer job loss and bad economy. :coffee:

Guys like him doesn't see the slavery in USA or Western Democratic system, only in Communist countries. People think there's a choice be it Democrats or Republicans or the voting system found in Europe as if it really makes a difference. All these politicians obey the bankers, the irony
