Top US diplomat to visit Islamabad tomorrow to bolster bilateral ties

“Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and others have greatness thrust upon them.” - William Shakespeare (Twelfth Night)

Looks like all three cylinders to make Pak great again are in fire, and are steadily being notched up to give the threshold thrust for the take-off!!!!!

When Allah-u Azimushshan opens a door it can't be closed; when HE closes a door it can't be opened....

By the grace of Allah all will be well everything is going in positive way. Sometimes because of our analytical mistakes leads us to misunderstand the way things appears. To me Pakistan is taking positive step. After a long awaited 100 years Turkey is very well placing itself in international affairs. Regaining roll of worlds strategic affairs. The recent event of Russia, Taliban leadership, Turkey, China, Pakistan plus few regional countries are sitting for afghan talks, where American installed Afghan government and America is not participating so desperate india is paying the price of uncle sam. The recent visit of US Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State is for South and Central Asia. Ambassador Alice Wells also would like to discus Afghanistan with Pakistan before meeting in Russia apart from recent China-Pakistan financial dealing and future IMF dealings. By the grace of Allah USA is losing its grip almost everywhere. The recent Iran sanctions are not much appreciated in most of Europe. Today's world is different and cannot be run like 20 years back.

He himself can be an uncle.
What made you think everyone on this forum is from the age 20 to 30 and all rejected persons from army and airforce wanna be's. No one cares for navy of course.

. . .
This is desperation folks. Hold talks, but keep them at an arms length.

Rule of thumb, keep nodding yes, but do nothing.

The US Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia, Ambassador Alice Wells, will visit Pakistan on Tuesday (tomorrow), the Foreign Office said on Monday.

“The ambassador will hold meeting with senior officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” FO spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal said in a Twitter post.
“The aim would be to follow up on discussions between Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Secretary of State, Michael Pompeo with a view to further strengthen bilateral relations.”
Pakistan stresses on broad-based ties with US

Dr Faisal added that the ambassador will also call on the Finance Minister [during his visit].

Last month, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi stressed on a broad-based relationship with the United States during separate meetings with the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and National Security Adviser John Bolton.

The foreign minister had emphasised that close “engagement between Pakistan and the United States had always been mutually beneficial and a factor for stability in South Asia”.
This is good news .

American visits are becoming more and more irrelevant day by day .. They gotta do more to get Pakistan back
