ISLAMABAD: Security agencies arrested a top Tehreek-e-Taliban operative from Islamabad on Thursday.

Forces also recovered a stolen military vehicle from his possession, which he was planning to use for a future suicide attack.

Sources told DawnNews in Islamabad that the TTP operative, Israr Amin, belongs to District Hangu in the NWFP.

During the initial investigation, the TTP operative disclosed that he had snatched five military vehicles from the tribal areas and the NWFP, and had used them to launch attacks against military targets.

The arrested operative is also an explosives expert and a top TTP planner of suicide bombings.

Israr Amin has been shifted to an interrogation centre.

Security agencies have also arrested his brother after conducting initial investigations.

Geez...snatched FIVE military vehicles?

Guys having tea and their jeep gets stolen? Or does this dude walk into the battalion motor office and help himself to the keys?

I've seen some pretty hectic motor pools where getting keys to a vehicle wouldn't be too hard but the only U.S. Army vehicle I've ever heard stolen was a tank or S.P. howitzer.

Something small and inconspicuous...

Thanks.:usflag:

There should be no methods for interrogating animals.any method could be used and after extracting the required info they should be given a painful death.

He said snatched the vehicles from the tribal areas, not from the Army.

So didn't US forces ever lost vehicles after getting into ambushes or stuff like that ??

As i saw not some, rather many vehicles at many times on international news channels left abandoned by US forces after coming into ambushes or firefights. Even perfectly running tanks got left behind by US forces in Iraq, US forces abandoning their posts and bases so for what the laughing is all about ??
