Some days ago, a news published in Pakistan Media "Top Pakistani Agency Dismantles International Spy Network". According to report, One Senior retired army officer, few people in security establishment and a diplomat was the part of Spy network. Most probably the spy network working for CIA.

I have following question.
1) Is this true ? Anyone confirm?
If true,
2) Do anyone have more detail on this news?
3) Isn't it a great threat to our security?

5) Please Share the name of senior retired army officer who is arrested?

I’ve heard from my uncle (back in the early days of the US war in Afghanistan) Pakistanis weren’t allowed to enter their own airbases without US permission. Pakistan was an epicentre of foreign spies doing whatever they wanted and the results of that were evident.

General kiyani and Shuja Pasha, in their time, worked hard to break a lot of these networks. Raheel sharif also tried his best but ultimately if the government isn’t cooperating with the military then only so much can be done. The PTI government is the first one in a long time which is actually working together with them army and cooperating and coordinating with them.

As for this news specifically no one from the government or military will come forth and confirm this report. For me, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was true. Yes, great progress has been made but there is still some cleaning up to do.
