Jericho missiles are expensive strategic weapons that Israel maintains as a deterrence mostly. not really a tactical everyday war weapon.

secondly they will not be able to use the nuclear jerichos (as Israel being a 1 bomb state would not survive any nuclear retaliation, or even maybe the international fallout of their offensive use)


using conventional jerichos would be absolute desperation for Israelis. they have limited numbers of them, and would not significantly alter the reality of the war.

the Israeli doctrine is not built around missiles. but their strong air force. which really intimidates immediate neighbours like Egypt, Syria, Jordan etc.. But its almost useless against iran, and might even be targets themselves as iran would be targeting every known Israeli airfield as a #1 target early.

the IDF is not really built in a way to be able to confront iran. while irans doctrine of investing HEAVILY in missiles. Means they are perfectly suited, maybe even outright designed for a confrontation with Israel/US.

first of all tell me in what realistic scenario would Israel start using nukes?? just out of the blue on day one? or after a couple of months of getting pummelled and essentially ceasing their existence as a functioniong state? or somewhere in between?

lets just put aside the ridiculous notion of it. given the international fallout such a strike would bring. But by own western estimates. the nuclear program has cost iran over 100 billion dollars of cost, economic damage, lost growth potential etc... (I personally believe that number is far larger)

do you really think after all this investment, Finally getting the west to recognize irans nuclear rights... you really think iran hasn't prepared for an extreme worse case scenario like this? what would be the point of this investment if they hadn't? do you really want to find out the hard way given that you are 1 bomb state and iran can absorb many? do year really want to risk it? the proof is in the putting as they say...

also at a minimum iran is a threshold state as is. Any real threat of war, and there will almost certainly be an all out dash to build a couple of working nukes to achieve deterrence. That's the whole point of having a program like this . That is why Israel has been crying about this whole time.

iran is a nuclear state. We don't have to publicly test a nuke as of right now to prove it.
