Top ISIS weapons

10 tanks hardly pose any considerable threat, and can be taken out without much difficulty. Humvees, yes.
Thing is, not by Kurds or anything. Well, they sure can use RPGs or IEDs against them but the Tanks still give a considerable tactical edge to ISIS, especially when ISIS counters the Kurds' offensives.
Humvees are also a great threat because of their mobility and reliability (when compared to the other stuff ISIS would have).

they take it to the extreme, and are good at it.
they are like Al Qaeda on steroids.

Technically ISIS is AL Qaeda, and a very notorious branch. When AQ central disowned ISIS for being too brutal this was actually the second time this has happened between the two branches. ISIS was formerly known as Al Qaeda in Iraq and are the same A**holes we fought during our time there. They were brutal then and it should be no surprise they are brutal now. Fortunately, and like their experience in Iraq, ISIS hasn't learned that its brutality fosters the seeds that will be its undoing.

This A**hole was the leader of AQI before it became ISIS (and before this death)

Nah,against a properly trained army like yours (or ours, both are quite similar in training and tactics) they won't have much of a chance.............at least not for very long. The thing is,there is virtually no central government in Iraq and in Syria, the SAA was already preoccupied with other rebel factions and stretched out thin when the ISIS stuck.Besides,SAA has also shrinked over time from around 300000 in 2010 to ~200000 due to mass defections and casualties,so they presently lack the numbers necessary to dedicate on all the fronts at the same time. That is why the ISIS is looking like consists of 10 feet tall super humans which in reality,is not the case.It seems the SAA and NDF has finally got their shit together and has begun to give these bastards a tough time.

.
Actually ISIS barely got heavy weapons from Iraq, there were no tanks stationed North all tanks were in the center and Anbar. Most equipment ISIS seized are small arms, ammo, a small number of humvees/trucks, some other light armoured vechiles etc, M198 6 artillery pieces, not much else.

The forces north who fell apart were mostly infantry, all the heavy weaponry was in Anbar as that was the HQ of ISIS in Iraq late 2013 early 2014.

Most tanks ISIS got are from Syria since Syria has/had 5000-6000 tanks, ISIS mainly has T-62's barely any T72's.
