Worst list ever. No Japan or South Korea. Japan is the 4th strongest and South Korea is better than Turkey.
Indeed and I don't see no Bangladesh there either, pathetic list:tdown:

Ontopic: These lists mean nothing in real war scenarios, a small disciplined army cud give a huge army a bloody nose by means of sheer strategy and motivaion

The list was made when the writer was damn high. Original title says top 10 and in the article could put together only 8.

South Korea yea, but remember, they are conscripts and aren't can not be a effective force in the near future if they have NKorea to constantly fight.
Japan's military is known as JSDF Defence Force being key, they really lack any offence capability as its in their constitution to only have a defensive military policy ie, no invasion flights from WW2. They may have the capability, but they sure don't have a grand strategy other than America.
I would have doubted Turkey, but Turkey is key, its strategic location, makes its military's job not so easy. And they know it and plan for it. It has reach and importance.
However the UK - France are only effective with Nato, much like Japan.
Regardless, all the countries had been reducing forces until this whole Ukraine issue.

.
Conscription is not the problem for South Korea. The proximity of their capital Seoul to DMZ is a BIG problem. Any south Korean posters here?
