Lol! China is tight? Ridiculous, we're probably the least rules bound nation in the world that's not an African dictatorship. No one follows any rules here! Laws are advisory, from the "no talking" in the library to even criminal law. Students even have sex in the classroom, wtf. Don't get me started on the girl taking pictures of herself going to the toilet. The common consensus in China is that we're too rule-flouting, not too rule-following. This phenomenon even has university professors writing on it!

Preserving culture is one thing and Intolerance is another.

You can preserve the culture by grooming your new generation in accordance with your culture such that their sense of morality is based on it but unfortunately a significant part of our society thinks that it can be preserved by Intolerance and violence.
