India need to more and more work out on some points like survival and natality inequality(we are close to sub saharan Africa in this subject).The countries who have topped the list possess a very good handsome figure of female survival rate.
On the other hand what we need is more and more gender equality in domestic and commercial arena. Most of the east asian countries like Thailand, Philippines can be a very good examples for us to learn.

I imagine quite a few European countries treat their women population well....Scandinavian countries, Ireland and Germany for instance. In Americas probably Canada will take the top spot followed by US.

Middle east still has to evolve a lot...but the UAE in my opinion is far ahead than the rest of the gulf and middle eastern countries.
