This video can hardly be called a fair rating of the best attack helicopters. The positioning of Z-10 (China) so high up the order is by no means believable.

Is that because you wanted to see Dhruv listed instead of Z-10? Watch Best Tanks and Best Fighter Jets videos. You will find Chinese Products are rated at Number 5/6 most of the time. They have really improved in every field my friend. Just have an unbiased look towards them and you will see what the world is looking at.

If the Z-10 is really so good, then why is the PA demanding Super Cobras from the US? Why no go in for the Z-10, which the Chinese will be only too willing to provide.

How many international customers has the Z-10 had till date?? If it was really so good then how come no one else has baught it till date??

As for the Dhruv its a potent helicopter, i never claimed it to be in any top league. Only time will tell for what it is worth.

Btw: the Z-10 has been designed with extensive technical assistance form Eurocopter & Augusta.

Do some reading before relying on the information that a video provides. Any Tom, Dick & Harry can make a video representing his 'wet dreams', but dreams are very diffrent from reality.

Btw - if i remember correctly, It was you right who was claiming a photoshopped image of a rock floting in the air to be Alla's miracle & indulged in conspiracy theories as to how the western media was wantedly censoring that perticular news. What childish conclusion, every country purchases its military hardware with accordance to its needs and keeping in mind how feasible its maintenance would be. The main reason for Pakistan to show interest in more Cobras is because of its experience with the machine and it suits the requirements for the time being.

As far as your rating of helicopters on the basis of its number of operators is concerned, your knowledge on the subject is very poor my friend the following helicopters AH-2, KA-50, A-129/T-129, MI-28 don’t have any foreign operators. So according to your standards all of them should be crap and I’m sure they would have been only if they were Chinese.

Lets not criticize Chinese hardware just because you Indians have a personal grudge against them. Keep hate aside.

Comparison based upon stats would be more helpful for all of us.

We are already operating Cobras from many years now and we have its trained staff + infrastructure for the maintenance. PLUS we are NON-NATO Ally and that gives Pakistan certain privileges (that I expect will be taken off soon). Its not just the performance analysis. Pakistan is making the decisions considering multiple factors and that shouldn't be impossible to understand for you.

Its a new platform and everybody would need to see its performance and cost/benefits before inducting it. Same is the case with Turkey's attack helicopter. Plus I am not believing that the suggested video has the absolute truth it it. The guy could also be positively biased as you are negatively biased.

As for the Dhruv its a potent helicopter, i never claimed it to be in any top league. Only time will tell for what it is worth.

If you don't trust Chinese technology, you can give Z-10 some marks for having Eurocopter and Augusta's tech. Wont you think so? But my point is always the same that even if it was developed by Satan, does that reduces the capability of some platform? Just because it got assistance from 10 other resources to get in shape, would that mean its not potent anymore?

True, I would love to see this video made by Arjun, Gopal and Ramchand as well. After all Tom, Dic and Harry are not the only people we got to listen to. Your options are open my friend. Give it a try and suggest your ranking.

Absolutely and that post have given me a lesson in life. I have seen such printed posters displayed at few shops here and I am not the only misinformed person in this regard. I accept that wasn't a wise approach of mine and I have corrected myself and many of my friends about falling to such serial emails and even printed content that is being spread without conforming the source.

Plain and simple Pakistan wants Cobras because they are better!! & because the Americans have agreed to provide them to you for the time being, which is not likely to be the case in the future.

Only were the Americans have denied you the equipment you have turned to the Chinese. Even with all the hate towrds the US & the constant threat of sanctions - the PA prefers American equipment over Chinese. Speaks volumes about your confidence in Chinese quipment.

That apart - i have nere disputed the fact that the Z-10 might be a good helicopter, i only disputed its palcing so high up the order. The Chinese had Augusta & Eurocpoter assisting them in the design process, so it is hard to disgest that the Chinese have ended beting the A-139/ Eurocopter Tiger as the video seems to suggest. Try making sense.

Get your facts correct, Venezuela has ordered the MI-28. All the other manufacturers of the machines mentioned here have considerably more experience in this kind of stuff compared to the Chinese. The Chinese are being assisted by the Europeans for havens sake, do you expect them to beat them!!???
