My point is that instead of building GT road first which connects all of Pakistan he build a motor way to just service connection between cities

N-5 from lahore-pindi-peshawar-afgan border is part of GT road
First motorway was M-2 from Lahore to Islamabad while also connecting Faisalabad.
It was alternate route to N-5

And it was built in most populated part of Pakistan where traffic is quite high

2nd motorway was it's extension M-1 from Islamabad to Peshawar

Well I don't know how old are you but late 1990s and early 2000 when I ever went to Lahore always used GT Road due to low traffic and security concerns.

GT road was SINGLE lane

You are telling me it's okay to build three a road connecting Lahore and Islamabad as compared to developing the GT road from torkham to Karachi???

Also Faisalabad wasn't connected then

Please pick up a map tell me that dozen of cities on GT road were okay to be ignored for purpose of motorway build between just two cities that are not even the two largest cities of Pakistan.

We aren't talking about motorway between karachi and Hyderabad or something that has enough volume..
