Well my definition of a long drive is something over 650 miles and my most recent long drive was in April 2015 from Atlanta to Boston to help my brother with shifting and I had to drive more than 1100 miles all alone but I drove in normal boots, flip flops and though the road time was around 21 hrs but I ended up dotting it with a few sojourns thus increasing the total time significantly to 48.5 hrs ... so
