I am in pakistsn, going back today.
Economy is on the upswing. People are working, property values are outrageous---my house that was valued 5 years ago at $200 thousand is at 1 million dollars plus in todays market---it is almost like orange county, california values----un fcuking believable---i almost fell of the sofa i was sitting on.
People i met are as excited sbout their businesses and opurtunities.
As for Fata and baluchistsn, it will clean up sooner than expected. The only reason it took so long is that the people accepted the problem too late.
US is back with pakistan-----china has opened up its coffers so much so that pakistan cannot take enough.
This is just a B S con artist kind of article with no head or tail, starting somewhere finishing elsewhere.
There are as many issues about minorities in pakistan, as there are in any neighbiring countries.
Can the pakistanis do a better job at having beter relations, yes they can and they need to.
Yessir, property in any good area is worth crazy today. But the problem remains: Low levels of tax recovery, too much black money floating around, while it helps with the consumption driven growth, government loses out a lot. Companies that make household products like, soaps, detergents, toothpaste, fizzy drinks are basking in money. More money than they can count.
