To all men - do you use straight razor or safety razor

. .
Well my mom is Columbian Lebanese her family is from Lebanon and Syria but migrated to Columbia and Venezeula a century ago

Yah "arabs" as they are known are quite prevalent in some of the latino countries novels etc I have read.

. . . . . . . .
Grooming your facial hair is a big part of the armed forces, so it's not totally irrelevant.

So do you use a straight razor, safety razor or cartridge razor?:big_boss:

1. please state brand/model type and price.
I steer away from a straight razor bcuz I kinda never learned how to use one...and it just seems scary to use after I got used to cartridge razors. However the cartridge ones always bugged me bcuz I thought it was a waste of money to buy those expensive cartridges only to discard them after a shave or two. Then I came across this single edge one that does away with cartridges.

I have this single edge razor(link below)

I know the price is a bit too high as far as razors go but its build quality is solid and it should last a lifetime.

The reason I went for this is bcuz I wanted to move away from razors that use cartridges...for a few reasons
1) cartridges are often proprietary and u r usually stuck with a few options
2) cartridges are expensive
3) they end up as waste products
4) usually cartridges have 3 or 5 blades which creates more bumps

With this one time investment...all u have to do afterwards is just buy the blades and those 5 problems above go away.

Usually my routine is that I shower in the morning and then shave. A hot shower softens up the skin...then with shaving cream...this thing glides across ur face for a clean and comfortable shave.
