What's new

To ALL members from PAKISTAN.. especially the youngsters!

. . .
hizb ut tahrir nation wide rallies

Oh thanks.. But i am not talking about any Political Party or any Molvi Tehreek.. they have their own agenda.. I am talking about neutral students who will just go for the honour of the country..

Whenever their is a party arranging protests.. the worth of protest is reduced to less than half.. reason being.. Govt will say that they have their own political agenda.. but if the students come out without any political party heading them.. THAT becomes protest for the Country!!

hope i cleared my point..

I liked your writings and points which are pretty straight forward.. This is typical subcontinental mindset ki pahla patthar kaun maarey? but side by side it is also disappointing that you see this internet is not worthy of revolution.. I am writing few past incidents in India which changed the course of History and now present as well as future...

1) Media: This is strongest tool we have for revolution and I remember while before 2005 politicians were untouched by any crimes. Media changed a lot and gave a hard case fo Jessica Lal murderers and after that there are plenty of such cases.

2) Internet: These social n/w sites, mail chains are creating a revolution now. I get plenty of mails now in my office as well as personal mails demanding for blood groups and beofre i call, all the cases were already taken up.. :)

3) Social Activist: These are the safest bets in comparison to politicians.. We saw in case of Obama, we ppl changed the american history but with in days things were same. Hence ppl thinking Imran Khan will do this or Mr Musharraf will do that seems a blind bet. Try some famous social activist, We did with Anna Hazare and with in days brought down Indian govt.
If even social activist is not available, then people can raise there voice when they walk together.. Egypt is the current biggest example.

Thanks for accepting the validity of my points.. There are a few misconceptions you have taken up from what i wrote and those i would like to clarify..

1) Media: I am not against Media or am not saying that media is not playing its part.. as i have said in my previous posts.. only media cannot do everything.. they have been emphasizing on important aspect of this puppet government and they also have been raising up the point that public is not coming out!

2) Internet: Agreed to what you have written.. and we have plenty of proof supporting it.. again.. i have never said that they have no role to play.. but this will work in countries where literacy rate is above 60%.. In Pakistan the literacy rate is 50% (according to reports for 2009) and this include those people who can write their OWN NAME in ANY language also.. Hence, the REALLY literate people are not more than 20%.. these people HAVE to come out and educate others

3) Social Activist: You have used this term so i can safely assume that you are well aware of the sub-activities of Socio-Activism. One of the most important one is "Organizing Demonstration", for those of our readers here who are not well aware of what i mean.. here is the link for further study..

All i am trying to convey through this thread is that the youth of our nation needs to come out.. ACTIVELY.. and should promote others to come along with them.. young people are more energetic, more active, more daring, more commanding, more demanding, and can take whatever the establishment or government throws at them (well in definition they should, not sure about MD ones).. they can lead a revolution to its success..

If we leave again everything to these so-called politicians, nothing is gonna change, people need to come out under the FLAG OF PAKISTAN not PPP, PML (N), MQM or any other.. no flag other then PAKISTAN should be used.. no name of party.. just Pakistanis!!!!..

Hope i cleared my points..

Dear, I was accepting all facts you wrote except one point of not accepting Internet as medium. Rest all mediums I mentioned were nothing but a supportive tool of general public if used properly hence I dont find any point to support/reject them. Period.

As i said before brother, it doesn't matter where you are or who you are, it doesn't matter what you are doing, everyone has to play HIS/HER part in revival of OUR country.. I am doing what i can, with all honesty, i can assure you that i am doing whatever is required to uphold the honour of our country from where i am.. I can also assure you that people around me (whichever nationality they belong to) know EXACTLY what our nation is all about and what we are going through b'coz of this WoT..

Along with this, i also assure you that other people (my friends and colleagues) here are also working to change the thinking of our community here.. Nationalism is being supported more and more as compared to partyism or brathryism.. we are raising awareness in Overseas Pakistanis for that purpose.. you know there is a very BIG community outside Pakistan also..

Not everyone has to fight on ONE front.. you do what YOU can and i'll do what I can.. at the end.. we all are working for betterment of OUR country..

Well, if you ask me about my opinion on it, i would say that if you forcefully tried to stop the NATO/US supply lines, it will result in following possible scenarios:

1) Police and Army will be used to disperse the people stopping the supply lines, resulting in bloody riots between the forces of Pakistan and civilians. This will also escalate the unrest in other civilians and will result in further demoting the honour of the country in International community as well as providing new recruits for terrorists.

2) The Invading forces (US in particular) will have another reason to justify their presence in Pakistan, they will emphasise that this blockage to NATO/US forces was not done by People of Pakistan, it was done by SUPPORTERS of TALIBAN, hence, negating the desired effect of this action.

These are but, couple of negative effects this kind of action will have. As I said before, if you really want to register your protest and let the international community know of your concerns and unease on the current situation, you will have to demonstrate it in such a way that your GOVERNMENT is FORCED to say NO to all invading forces. And that is only possible IF they fear losing SUPPORT from voters.

Politicians and establishment are just few thousands; they CANNOT withstand the pressure of the nation when it is united and on protest under Pakistan’s flag!

Just my two cents..

Facebook effect ?

Good points, but where will we start ?

Start from your surroundings, i know, people will resist, will give a lot of excuses, brathryism, party politics, influence of the person the person, you know what i mean, but you still need to keep going.. its YOUR country you are working for!
