What's new

To All Bangladeshi fans

.
Trivia for you. Which fans burnt stadium seats after their defeat in 1996?

You know what is the difference ? They blamed their own team for their abysmal performance..and not the other team because of their superiority, no questions about that..

West Bengalis .... now Trivia for you who is crying their eyes out in 2015?

Careful now..if you had any shame and least little bit of national pride, you would have done the same..

.
Two things I would like to add...

first being that the umpiring went heavily in favor of India, there is no doubting that. I do not believe in conspiracy theories and there is absolutely no reason to believe in foul play from the umpires. However, there is no justification for a sports body to be dictated by 3 nations. Does not seem fair.

Secondly, the OP must understand that this is WC Quarter finals, every single decision makes a huge impact. So definitely some of the fans reaction is justified. I do not think Indians would take it kindly if Australia is offered such a reprieve to their premier batsman during the semis. Please note, India would have most likely scored under 270 and the game would have been different. If you understand cricket you would know that chasing 270 is a lot lot easier than 300. There wont be as much scoreboard pressure and less risks and less wickets.

Yes we should have pelted the house of our cricketers like you did in 2007.

Previously Benefit of doubt used to Go to batsman, now it goes to India batting or bowling.

If kayes was out, why didnt you take refferal?
Because it didn't matter (apart from the fact that many didn't hear the nick). They wouldn't have chased even if everybody was batted twice....

We arent crying. We feel betrayed. Even ranatunga thinks icc is indian cricket council. Was he crying?
did you feel betrayed when BD qualified in quarters because of a wrong decision

It's a game and human mistakes happen
1 wrong decision and you guys go all nuts calling ICC as fixed

What decisions?

Well had west bengali government had any national pride they wouldn't have put the blame of simple law n order situation on Modi. Bangladeshi are allegedly involved in the rape of that nun but the proud Bengali government is pointing towards the Hindus.

You want to talk about politics and religion and West Bengal in particular, be my guest and open a new thread, nobody is stopping you there.. How do you even relate a cricket match in 1996 to some other totally unrelated event in 2015 ? Are you born dumb, or just trained yourself specifically to be so ?

I don't see him burning effigy of umprie and the ICC president who from Bangladesh is crying.

You start the thread ... I started one but it got deleted for hurting Non Hindu religious sentiments.

You should have..if you had any national pride and if you relate cricket to that.. but all you can do is cry foul like a baby girl in a forum, blame others for your own incompetence and nothing else.

Umpiring went heavily in favor of India????
Only 1 decision was in favor of India and that was Rohit's dismissal and similarly 1 decision went in favour of BD as well

We control the body because 80 percent revenue comes from us....it's not fair but that's how it is

We would have showed our protest......but we wouldn't have burned the effigy of Aleem,we wouldn't have called the match fixed........BDeshis are overreacting

So the no ball decision was our incompetence? BRAVO. Chorer mayer boro gola. Not in a mood to discuss cricket with people who take credit of insulting their own cricketers who play for their country.

No ball was not a wrong decision. He might have overlooked it, sure but no-ball was called well before the ball was caught....

I believe I have entertained you enough already.. Keep these things in mind..

1. Next time, you choose your words very carefully if you even dare in your dreams to speak against any particular region of India, being an Indian yourself. There are people here, like me, who will ensure that you eat each and every word of your loose talk, and you should apologize.

2. In context of this thread, it was very much necessary to make the Indian cricket team feel the shame, back in 1996..At least the crowd in Eden Gardens had that nationalism in them to do it. Just think of how Indian cricket improved after that. A jolt was necessary.I don't really support vandalism, but I will call that a necessary evil. Hope you can see through that..

Umpiring did go in favor of India, even Mahmudullah's decision could have been reversed on account of benefit of doubt. But even if it is only 1 decision, it was an important one which is worth 20-30 runs... a huge deal when playing a knockout game.

Even if 100 percent revenue came from India, it still should not justify literally controlling the whole cricket body. At the end of the day just like rest of the cricketing world needs the revenue generated from India, India also needs rest of the cricketing world since they cannot play the game by themselves. Absolute power can never be good for the game.

Excuse me ? Chor kake bolish re ? Was it Indian cricket team which gave that no ball decision ? Bangladesh lost with a margin of more than hundred runs..If you had any bit of sportsmanship left in you then you could have seen which one is the better side, instead of cooking up wild conspiracy theories..Even Bangladesh came to quarter finals because of a wrong decision against England. Why don't you take it up with ICC first ? Bunch of sore loosers, all that people like you are doing is undermining the good performance by the Bangladesh cricket team..
