Its difficult to contain a mob. They have so far been controlled well. Apart from burning a bakery, nothing major happened in Karachi.

Police and rangers can crush them in no time, but this has to come from the top. Remember what happened at model town lahore?

Musharraf had the courage to put that lal masjid molvi in his place in the grave, the current government needs to put Khadam rizvi in his grave as well.

I hope you remember the consequences of Lal Masjid? The wave of suicide attacks. Painting of several mosques to red color in South Waziristan and even parts of KPK which were under Taliban control.

Yres, I agre with you guys. Right now with PM IK neogitiating in China we don't want things escalating. This is not exactly good publicity to attract investment. Right now contain them. but surely after this settles down there has to be accountabilty. Those who openly incited mutiny or asked for judges to be killed needed arresting and according to law face justice - treason/inciting murder. That should send a signal to others in future.
