Legal ground of both sharia & judiciary emphasize on Shahada of the witnesses, which you have to testify at any cost and this is what exactly SC did during the hearing of this case. Come what may you can't ignore the shahada of witnesses, you have to judge either shahda are valid or contradicting to each other.

Why did TLP not want her to leave, especially is she was acquitted? Did they want her to stay in the country so that they would punish her, irregardless of what the court said about her case? I don't understand the motive here.

This video is recorded before the hearing of case. You should listen to the version of defendant team. Justice Khosa created a total mess today in court staying totally out of topic and showing his arrogance. He would easily have referred the case to full bench or a moderated bench but he simply refused to discuss the points of lawyers and dismissed the review petition by repeating his old narrative. Infact, he gave a reason to molvis. These judges are famous for giving reasons just like what they did in Nawaz Sharif's case by giving a very weak verdict which will surely help him in future.

What is new about that? Religion began to be used by ML pre 1947 and that formula proved to be so potent that every government has continued using it.
