In a democracy, the right to protest cannot be curtailed.
In India we have farmers blocking main highways for months but no such coercive actions by the police.
In usa we have the million man march .
In china we have the tianeman square protests. Oh wait thats not a good example.

Religious rights cannot be trampled under the boot.

.
Meanwhile, I have gone IK's Twitter page and congratulated him for such a wonderful incompetence. He surely is a great leader !

. .
Have a feeling that this is done to appease the West, and with FATF evaluation coming, UK putting Pakistan in some sort of terror list...so on and so forth.

Incompetent decision by the govt.

Can't be scared anymore. It took over a decade to take action against TTP and results were dramatic. Same with these psychotics, they need to be all in prison or death row. Many many murderers in their ranks.

What are you on about India you have regular riots where the police get involved in mob violence
Arresting the TLP chief coming from a janaza has certainly provoked the workers more, if they have started the protests against govt back tracking and then arrested it wouldn't have looked that bad.

Bad idea and planning by the govt or the army is behind the arrest.

Back tracking from the commitment was wrong, should have talked to them about the possibility and what cannot be done.

You can't have the state threatened by groups such as this,PTM, BLA

When do we make a stand

Protest is a right, creating fassad and stupidity isnt

. .
Tear gas coming inside in our home from the road

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Same happened in my house some 2 years ago. These same TLP mulls were protesting about something when the police fired tear gas 5 to 8 shells landed in my house. It was fucking hard even to open eyes.

Protest is a right as you have said and here the TLP chief was arrested to preempt the protest coming...and that resulted in bigger violent protests, two person killed, police vans torched.

And here they are making TLP more relevant and giving strength to them.

Shouldn't have been like this.

any tome herry dick can block pakistan what a banana country .

Its more than a banana rebuplic, its the public that is suffering due to these idiots causing a loss and hospital patients who need medical supplies and emergencies can't reach hospital, Provincial executives seems very weak when dealing with protesters that are blocking highways.

The way this is going, the govt tactic may be proved right.

Once protests start it is impossible to arrest leaders. Now they are protesting headlessly, and looks like they are running out of ideas.

How can you allow one tiny group to dictate the fates of 200m? The average Joe doesn't give 2 sh##s about the French ambassador anymore.

At the time, govt made a protest and said some strong words. That was that and everyone moved on - but for zombies this was not enough, they've made it a political tool to blackmail the govt.

I don't think any group has the right to threaten a govt - blatant extortion here.

Police has a right to arrest anyone threatening violence btw.

And another thing - Pak state can't be seen to be scared of mulllah power. See the examples from rest of the world - in reality majority of these projects are total cowards.
