What a beautiful tragic fate this thing ended up suffering.

X-47B was a tech demonstrator program and after near $1Billion spent and a few built, the capability was built, tested and achieved. The SAME capability / technology set was rolled into the 6th gen fighter jet B2 Raider. That was the fate of the tech demonstration program to begin with. At some point, more of these will be developed to work as a loyal wingman in certain theaters.

What's needed for Turkey and from Turkey to its future customers is: A full 5th / 6th generation warfare package needs to be rolled out with platforms, AI and weapons. This applies to TFX / KE / Akinci / Anka etc:

1) Standardize drone offerings (right now there are too many projects going on). Make strategic projects a priority like KE / Anka, etc.

2) Present a strategic vision on 5th gen TFX to work with ONE or TWO maximum strategic UCAV projects so there is clear strategy on loyal wingman operations.

3) Focus on AI being a part of KE / Akinci / Anka. If EMP takes out communication, how will these assets fight a war?

4) Focus on BVR project's weapon maturity, Bozdogan / Gokhan, etc

Actually We wont buy any fighter jets from anybody because USA threatining us under the table, we cant trust anyone so we have to take care of ourselves as Turkiye. as you said we will focus on BVR project's weapon maturity, Bozdogan / Gokhan, etc BUT also we will manufacture future weapon systems like KE, MIUS, MMU for any case.

TAI has never missed or delayed its project, instead, they just said tfx will fly in 2024 october, instead of 2026, which later switched to 2025.
