But they were not...claiming that Malabar Muslims were soldiers of Tipu Sultan is not true.

Excuse me i did not make it up as i go along, etc its confirmed by indian sources, if you read hsi biography on his seccond revolt you will see, " Raja retaliated by collecting a large force of Nayars which was now supplemented by Mappilas and Pathans, latter being ex-soldiers of Tipu who became unemployed after Tipu’s death" source william logan who wrote and researched much on him, infact knwoone has denied it

come on guys, man like Tipu deserves more than just a TV serial..

big budget movie..
waiting for one on Saladin as well..

we can exclude the "Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja" part since it will be too much to cover..

i think when a movie should be made about such personalities, not every war they fought should be included..
how much content can you squeeze into a 2 or 2.5 hours movie ?
plus you have to give time for character development and aftermath of tipu's martyrdom on india...
