Timeline of China-Pakistan Friendship

.
China has always helped Pakistan through thick and thin.
I think it is about time that Pakistan should help China with something.
It is my opinion that every Pakistans Prime Minister and Presidents first official visit should be to beijing instead of Washington.
Long Live Pak China Friendship.:pakistan::china:

Mr Gilani avoid taking this TURBANATOR with you on official visits.

Pak should choose whichever country she feels like to visit first to her best interests. We would never be jealous about it.

Any muslim countries, US, UK all wouldn't be bad bet.

.
to maintain the traditional friendship between Pak and China, non-governmental intercommunions are bound to be strengthened, in order to coordinate with the solo of governmental honeymoon.

. .
-1980s - China and US supply help through Pakistan to Afghan guerrillas fighting Soviet occupational forces.

Any neutral sources on that?

As far as I know it was mostly an American - Saudi - Pakistani operation were Afghans and Pakistani civilians were used as the bulk of the resistance. There were other arab and western countries as well as Israel to an extent that suppliend either men or arms.

China being a communist country would not mind another communist country in the neighborhood. I just don't see why it would help guerrillas fight the Soviets

Wikipedia doesn't provide any reference. As you know, anyone can edit Wikipedia.

I know that there were Chinese weapons supplied to Pakistan as were Indian rifles and Israeli weapons captured in Lebanon. These were all supplied using CIA-ISI logistics through China as well as Pakistan and even Iran.

The book "Unholy Wars: America, Afghanistan and International Terrorism" gives a good account on this.

At "EJAZR", your'e two posts are disappointing!! All you have done so far is ruin the good mood of this thread , your two posts are completely irrelevant to this thread. If you cannot contribute constructively please avoid posting anyways. :disagree:

Strong dislike for Pak-China friendship and the ISI from Indians is expected, but senior members like you and I should avoid being blunt fan boys and trollers
