Why not attack TTP in Afghanistan?
We have been reading angry comments on the page since the BKU attack that the Pakistan Armed Forces are not responding against the terrorists who are residing in Afghanistan and are enjoying the hospitality of the Afghan security forces and its govt.
Let's make this one thing clear. Nothing and no one is too far from our reach in Afghanistan, we can launch a campaign inside Afghanistan to seek out and destroy these elements where they are. The military capability is present, so is willingness. The decision to start such a campaign lies with the people of Pakistan and the Govt.
The Military will do what the Govt asks them to do, if such a campaign is started, it will take years to complete and it will cost us financial resources and casualties of our soldiers. It will also create a situation where our right wing fundamentalists will start saying that Pakistan is bombing a 'fellow Muslim brotherly cousin country of Afghanistan'. They will simply overlook the fact that Afghanistan is sponsoring and facilitating the murder of Pakistani children.
Prime Minister has the authority to initiate such a campaign to seek out and destroy Taliban targets in Afghanistan. It will require for the Prime Minister and the people of Pakistan to resolutely support this campaign, morally and financially. It will also mean that the office of the PM would have to openly justify the use of force in Afghanistan and would have to own up to it.
When all of the above dynamics are in place there will be no place safe enough for any of the TTP bastards in Afghanistan nor those who are supporting them to carry out their murderous campaign.

It is indeed the need of time right now for all of us to take necessary measures to counter the most threat which is causing us damage across the border. The seniors and experts are well aware of the situation so also knows how to deal with such threats. I will here share few things that I think should be done initially.
Cross the border Op
We have witnessed in past on several occasion that US, West and even India have gone for Ops across the border in the name of their own security or being attacked. This time, after all these incidents, it is indeed the moment for us to do whatsoever is necessary. Let us track the terrorist and we should hunt them down for our safety in future. On other hand, such op will cost us more than before in sense of Money, Int’l pressure by hidden facilitators, Internal Pressure by hidden traitors through campaigns to defame and most probably for the time being more incidents inside. We are already at war against terrorism inside our home so let us first finish the job by Op first and in the meantime enhance the security coordinates, intelligence sharing and civilian awareness. Hunting the leaders of terrorist wouldn’t be harder instead the mindset that we have to fight as well to nail down such cancer. All I fell is, we not only have to hunt each and every single of them but in the same time need to arrange civilian awareness to counter such mindset as well.
The op may need to be started on remote basis first like going via drones only. No need to step foot inside the land. Aerial strikers are most preferred for the moment rather putting man’s life in risk further. No doubt that our army has proven good enough in Zarb-e-Azb but this time it should be the Aerial maximum and by ground minimum with strategy to go in, do the job, come back by starting near border.
Following are few key reasons and steps that I think are needed to take initially inside.
1. Intelligence Sharing.
Intelligence is far most and the basic need of any kind of security for any nation. As we all know that we have a lot of intelligence agencies assigned with different jobs. However, I think there is a little gape of intelligence sharing or in other words it could be like communication gape. So to enhance the assurance of security, it is must for us to take a look of our internal intelligence sharing as well as the cleaning of culprits. We have witnessed in past that the worst yet result has been given by Police which is the first line of our defence internally. Time to call for cleaning process as well as to pullout the political influence from the departments. It is also noted that the most of percentage of Police and co departments are found corrupt in most cases and every Pakistani who lives here can understand. We have put every burden of security onto our Military forces and their intelligence agencies rather the internal job of security in cities and towns is purely tasked to Police and her intelligence. I don’t know whether how much it would be correct to say but there is lack of sharing of intelligence among our agencies. These communication gapes has caused delays otherwise the damage would be minimized. On other hand the building of trust issues are due to the corruption on lower end that few departments cannot be trusted fully so it is the area as well where need to work to firstly overcome these incidents.
2. Securing own house.
First of all going across the border, it is needed to secure the border immediately. It is needed that we should take necessary steps to secure our border first to avoid any foreign intrusion into our homeland. While having a strict check & balance at border area will help much for security inside. The Pashtoon belt in northern areas would be much helpful to help protect that long area by helping them to develop the area. No politician has ever gave a thought to that area hence resulted panic and hatred and become major hideout of these terrorist who not just used influence but also spread the wrong interpretation among people being uneducated so also played with the money game as well.
3. The Politician Plague
Unfortunately our political system is almost totally a fail. Our leaders are corrupted beyond the limits due to their love for luxuries and poised with ego of family politics in love of money. This is the time to arrange things to let the people know their true faces. By going direct onto them or shoot them is more damaging as these traitors will have a course to opt as “Political Shaheed” to gain their vote bank more than before. Our politicians have almost poised each & every department of establishment either by personal relations or it is the money & greed of luxuries. The example of only Police department is not far away especially in case of Karachi that the city is bleeding only just because of incompetence of this department so the Military has to come and take over. If everything from operation against terrorism to help flooded areas, from medical camps in remote areas to the arrangement of peaceful elections, from military courts to hang notorious criminals to the foreign diplomacy to highlight these terrorists, then why not the country be handed over to Military at all. But I know these liberal failed diplomacy lovers would oppose openly. These politicians are like plague for us so time to strengthen the accountability department to serve the justice without any influence.
As soon as our Military gains more trust of nation by taking few steps and some of those as I felt are mentioned above, the nation’s moral will be more high to vote for these sort of across the border ops. People will not just stand but so also will fully support every military action in belief. As long as we have so called leadership, they will use every of their resource to demonize the moral of Military and will cause defame to Pakistan by their own acts yet people will never understand being blind folded in love of their Siyasi Rehnuma.
