1. Actually, the timing was perfect for an enemy. However, as a democratic state that proposes non-intervention and good relations with neighbours and also one that denounces violence, India should have aided Pakistan in subduing the resistance. With role reversal and with support from the US & perhaps even China, Pakistan could just have been able to quell the resistance.......and then the schooling of West Pakistan by the bigger countries could have commenced on human rights and balance b/w 2 sides to ensure that no side feels disadvantaged ever again.
We destroyed a third of the IAF in 1965 and lost a quarter as many jets of our own! That's the level of our superiority in the air, over you. Is it, then, any surprise that IAF could not cross the IB during either Kargil or 2001/02. Incidentally, in 2001/02 your country amassed almost all its military machinery at our border only to retreat unconditionally and unilaterally, unable to muster the courage to cross IB, it was because of what you had faced in 1965 as your country knew that in 2001/02, Pakistan wasn't at war with itself and would give a befitting response.
P.S. India was so desperate to sign its most coveted ceasefire in 1965, because of exhaustion of almost 80% of ammo, that it signed the letter a day ahead of the smaller country! How pathetic and shameful is that for such a large country?
2. IAF does not share your opinion or enthusiasm, no wonder they want more MKIs, Rafales, PAK-FAs, LCAs, Mig-29s, FGFAs and God know what else to station almost 80% of the assets near Pakistan, although it may still not be enough if we ever do go to war. Whereas PAF is highly content with just the F-16s and JF-17s
3. Good, pity then.
P.S. Because both are fielded by different forces, you brainless jerk! 1 is meant for Air Force and the other is to be fielded by the Navy on their carriers primarily!
P.S 2. I will ask again, apparently the MKI cannot fit certain roles as per your logic, What role can the MKI not fit in, is it the air superiority, the ground attack or interception/CAP missions??
1. Indian response to east Pakistan troubles was a revenge for Pakistan's failed Operation Gibraltar in Kashmir. Bear in mind that during the height of cold war Indian RAW sleeper cells were not only active in Pakistan but far more competent and lethal than ISI. It is after the 1971 war that all RAW sleeper cells in Pakistan were dismantled, a very bad move.
In paper Pakistan is a democratic state. In reality it is a military state. And why should India help Pakistan in its political problems? Has Pakistan helped India or even fellow muslim country Afghanistan? The Chinese, like I told you a hundred times, are simply not interested in you as a friend or ally. They are using you as a weapon against India. No soldier sacrifices his life to protect his weapon, it is always the other way round.
And USA did help Pakistan. 1971 was the peak of cold war and Pakistan was an ally of America. The Americans send their entire fleet to Indian ocean warning India that they will carry out a nuclear strike against India if west Pakistan was invaded. USSR sent its nuc;ear submarine in support of India, and backdoor diplomacy ensured truce to the 1971 war.
2. Yes, you destroyed a third of Indian airforce in 1965. LOL!!! The only IAF casualties in aircraft took place because Paksitani jets attacked Indian air bases without a formal declaration of war. The Pakistanis had the element of surprise. It's the same as the successful Japanese raid on Pearl Harbour, but that doesn't mean Japanese navy was better than US navy. Also bear in mind that no IAF jet was lost in air-to-air combat in 1965.
Indian forces were under order not to cross LoC. It has got nothing to do with your pathetic air force. Where was your airforce hiding when Indian jets bombed the Pakistani soldiers? In 2001/02 Indian army retreated because we knew it was not worth going to war with a failed state that has nothing to lose. That's why India adopted Pakistan's tactics and invested in Afghanistan. You know what followed next
P.S. - Believe all the lies you want. History does not change on the whims of Pakistanis.
3. Are you a semi-illiterate?
IAF will obviously induct more and more aircraft because its budget is more than the combined Pakistan defence budget. And the PAK-FA is the FGFA you fool, LOL!! You are talking as PAF has a choice in the matter. The defence budget for PAF is so low that I wonder if the personnel even get their salaries on time. You have no option but to use F-16, JF-17 and other outdated aircraft because you DO NOT HAVE MONEY to buy EF, Rafale, F-35.
India does not station 80% assets along Pakistan. You guys are a military joke. Majority of MKIs are being based in north-eastern states near the Chinese border. The Rafales too will be based most probably in Kashmir and along China border. India has four air commands - northern, eastern, southern and western. The western air command alone has more aircraft under it than the entire PAF. Google for it. We don't need 80% of our air force to fight PAF which cannot even shoot down drones.
P.S. - LOL you brainless jerk, does USAF have only one type of aircraft in its inventory? You are more dumb than the average Pakistani.
P.S.2 - You obvious retard. The MKI can fit in any role it sees fit but why waste the MKI to search and destroy enemy tanks when the MKI can destroy entire Pakistani air bases and cities? The tank destruction can be left to strike aircraft like Jaguar. It is called UTILISATION OF RESOURCES which you dumb Pakistanis obviously lack and for which you end up on the losing side every time.
