why should we do something which hurts us all? terrorists are the enemies of Afghanistan and Pakistan. we have continued our fight with or without American help over 16 years so it will continue nonetheless.
what Americans can do for a change is

stop the persecution of Afghan Pashtons
stop the heroin trade
try to stem the Daesh surge
and stop the flight of American aid through corrupt Afghan regime that is smuggling money out despite being caught in the past
