I was thinking in line of canada. Here ppl who are Muslims or jews take days off personally for religious reasons but not whole country as public holiday. Only time we have public holiday here during Christmas Easter or Thanksgiving. Didn't meant to hurt any one religious feelings. All bd ppl must have equal right. I agree with you.

I can understand all non Hindu religious festivals have reasons of celebrations. They are purely natural. But Hindu religion in present form isnt natural. All these are created very recently for local or regional domination with political aspirations. Underline of this religion is purely atheism. Because this is no religion but culture. People with little knowledge will throw this under broader margin and see this as oppression on any other religions. Which is not the case. I see BD should celebrate any non Hindu religious festivals but Hindu festivals should be celebrated by Hindus only. And I wish all BD Hindus should convert to any non Hindu religions or no religions, that way there will be no need to allocate a day for these nonsense. Hindus probably have religious festivals every other day, those cant be celebrated by whole country. This is my position, thanks for understanding.

Bangladesh is already working towards that effect, whatever little remaining religious minorities present in that hellhole are being converted by both Islamic extremists and Christian missionaries welcomed by BD government to their country.

Dear, I didn't mean to offend you. Listen, country and religion is different. I would not mind if you abuse India, but please refrain for talking about religions in any post. It's completely ok if you call India as 'Rendia' or whatever. But I don't like blasphemous materials.

Listen I'm against religious criticism. Even if this thread was anything against Islam or Prophet Muhammad, still I would have reacted the same.

Personally I believe Bangladesh should follow southeast asian countries like Malaysian, Thailand and Indonesia. These countries are very tolerant towards minorities and even is very progressive. I think currently when the world is in chaos, these south East Asian nations are still very peaceful.

Bangladesh should not follow Europe,USA, Pakistan, Myanmar, Arab nations. These countries are biggest violators of religious freedom.
