Tibetans in India..... did china forgot them?

oh... ya... all you did on this thread is just thanked an american guy...

if you think these questions are easy please try to elaborate them in your own words...

and you are pointing towards Indian media.... shall i belive on media or you when i can see clearly the people living i "Manju Ka Tilla" here in delhi

infact one can't satisfy with the answers given here on this thread

First, I have pointed out that your questions are too simple and naive, so i am not gonna answer them.

Second, some of the members here have offered you several versions of explanations, and i agree with most of what they said, hence i don't need to repeat them again.

Third, now that you have got some answers, why not continue what you have started, let us see what you've got.

In the light of Indian member's obsession with Tibet issue, i would like to bring up another aspect for us to ponder over.

What is India gonna do with those Tibetans who are living in India?

If i am not mistaking, there are more than 100 thousands of Tibetans living in India now, most of them still preserve their identity and recognize themsleves as Tibetan, though having lived in India for couple of years.

Sooner or later, it will dawn on them that the chance of building an independent Tibet is slim, so is the chance of them coming back to China.

What are they gonna do after they realize this? They have to move on with their life, they need to pursue something else that can be materialized.

Will they join India and become Indian? Well, that is an option. But the possibility of them refusing to become Indian is also there.

What if they choose to ask for land from India and try to build a country of their own inside India?

I think this will be an interesting topic for us to discuss.

They will get their ***** kicked plain and simple . they are guests here , nothing else.

they can become citizens if they want , if they dont like it they can go to any other country of their choice . Those are the only options they have .

Your post is just based on imagination so doesnt merit much discussion.

Plus what kind of a country would mere 100,000 people make ? :what:

Your question is also too simple and naive .

The population of Vatican is 826.

If 826 people can make a country, why not 100,000 people?

LOL. Vatican city is 110 acres. Tibetans will not ask for a separate country considering they already have one, south of China which is currently illegally occupied.

how is it illegally occupied. It is part of China and is recognized so by the international community. Whatever the issue is, its their internal matter. The issue is between the Tibetans and rest of China. There is nothing anyone else can do about it. CCP is not going to have to give you an explanation about anything.

True. But most of the world recognized Chinese suzerainty and not Chinese sovereignty over Tibet. They might now withdraw but fact remains that they illegally occupied a small, peace-loving Buddhist country which never posed any threat to them.

How is that any different from Kashmir?

Are you asking me why Kashmir is not a small, peace-loving Buddhist country?

You know what I meant?

What makes you think Chinese are in Tibet illegally. Tibet has historically been part of China.

Again how is it any less legal than Kashmir being part of India?
