Thunders to participate in Paris airshow 2015 June.

in the end it is a fighter jet, we should work on improvement of avionics, structural strength, engine and weaponry for better marketing rather going for paints.

Marketing is a art of selling a fridge to a Eskimo :P..

Perhaps to ignorant buyers not professionals, now in modern era marketing is quite different from selling.

marketing is different from selling in modern era

My requests to the PAF:
1) Please, do not send the JF-17 with that green camo....That paint scheme seems as if Thunder has fallen into a tub of green paint. Certainly, there are other ways to show the people that it hails from Pakistan :pakistan:
2) That grey paint scheme is nice but again, are you guys not marketing this plane ? If yes, then marketing needs some fresh ideas, one idea could be that not to use this paint scheme again and again ...try something different ....really cool ...If you don't have time, Copy Turk Solo Design with some improvisation of course ...after all we are not Indians
3) Hey ..I love the plane ...but I don't like it every time pulling the same maneuvers...improve the display format ...bring some changes ...and you don't have to present one plane flying ...it can be a pair also doing some synchronized antics ..like Gruesome Twosome :dance3:

The reason there has been no sale so far could be because we have not been able to market it.

Marketing is part of product development. We have developed a product but since we dont develop products often, we dont know what marketing is.

Most of our functionaries are plagued with this problem ...Baaby bethay hein sary ...I am yet to see anything beautifully painted or presented by our armed forces ....sigh ! Ideas 2014 ...Thunder was presented as if it was a toy for kids ...they don't compromise upon their own protocol stuff and presentation ....but when it comes to products ...it seems there is no one in the armed forces who knows a thing or two about marketing or product presentation !

Please note that PAF is an Airforce not a marketing company. They decided to manufacture an aircraft to their requirements now they are focusing on increasing numbers and improvements. Once they will know what they have finally made they are going to market it with ease.

I agree with this.

It may seem petty, but the green JF-17 looks awful. And is not suited for these kind of displays and air shows, they should be selling the image of military hardware with brutal precision. Though I think the normal PAF colours are entirely sufficient.

And Air Display as well ....more turns, deadly rolls, unending energy ...popping flares ...like ....you know :pop:

Is this English? what does it mean?
such stupid bravado statements don't sound cool in 2015.
how about a matter of fact "Thunders to participate in Paris airshow" kind of statement?

Thunder is ready to set a roar

.
i will be there :D

Better get yourself some good gear and catch the Thunder in action.....take lots of pictures! I had a plan to go to Europe around that time, unfortunately my mother isn't well, so can't go now. Maybe Farnborough next year, i so wanted to see Thunder flying in European airspace.

Unfortunately due to airspace limitations and strict regulations, airshows at Farnborough, Lebourget, Berlin etc....means that you will usually see standard displays. Long gone are the days of Pilots going insane........and ending up crashing their Migs/Sukhois

A previous appearance in 2011 air show was cancelled due to France's decision to suspend export of some electronic equipments to PAF, but now since the decision has been reversed, the PAF also decided to participate.
@Horus

Please elaborate jammer

The French package in question was for the JF-17.
There's a thread to the effect of Pakistan and France resuming talks on the supply of avionics for the Thunder.

With the indo french rafale deal we can kiss the avionics deal goodbye
