Three Pakistani soldiers were arrested by the Border Security Force personnel in Ranbir Singh Pura sector, near the India-Pakistan border, in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.

The soldiers belonging to the Chenab Ranger were apprehended near the border fencing at Suchetgarh outpost, official sources said.

Sources said during interrogation, the soldiers claimed that they entered Indian territory inadvertently. They were not carrying any arms.

India will take up the issue with Pakistani authorities.

Update : soldiers already have been returned to Pakistan

Hmm, I can't think of any reason they would be there, unless they ended up there by accident.

these are soldiers, not civilians. soldiers are expected to carry compases and maps. also soldiers should know where the border is and shouldnt accidentaly cross it.
