Why taliban think Polio vaccination program as antiislam. Any connecttion...
This is a pre-planned attack to sabotage Polio vaccination program in Pakistan. In worst case scenario, WHO will impose visa and travel restrictions on Pakistan and people leaving Pakistan will have to bring NOC.
In 2011, 198 polio cases were recorded from Pakistan (which is 30% of global polio cases), most of these are seen at FATA. The silly locals believe that drones are their only problem not polio. Children there are mostly not vaccinated and now these bastards are taking advantage of the situation. Time for our sleeping Govt to wake up and assess the situation before it becomes a bigger problem.
There are different misinformation spread against Polio vaccine by certain groups to promote their vested interests. One is that it is used by government for population planning. The biggest setback to Polio vaccination came when CIA agent Dr Shakeel Afridi used false polio vaccination campaign to trace OBL. Since then Taliban like people has another excuse in their hands to oppose vaccination.
You are wrong.... The main reason is
1. Allah has given you life, if he give you polio its His punishment. As abortion/family_planning is haram, similarly interfering Allah's wish is haram so anti polio drive is haram...
Propaganda:
a) US is conspiring to kill Muslims
b) US is conspiring to neuter Muslims
c) All polio volunteers are US agents... etc...
Yes, a misguided religious movement localized in Pushtoon areas only.
I don't know of Taliban movement anywhere else in the world except Pushtoon areas.

There is a hadith related by Jaabir that says:
We used to engage in coitus interruptus at the time of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). News of that reached the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and he did not forbid us to do that.
Related by Bukhari and Muslim
“Coitus Interruptus” is when the man withdraws from the woman before ejaculation. From the above hadith, we can see that our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not forbid this practice, hence it is permissible. Since condoms and diaphragms essentially perform the same function, they are both allowed also.
However, the man should only use these methods in agreement with his wife as she has the right to bear children if she wants. And we should also understand that the companions of Prophet Muhammad usually used this method to prevent their slaves from getting pregnant, as the following hadith shows:
O Messenger of Allaah, I have a slave woman and I engage in ‘azl with her, because I do not want her to get pregnant, but I want what men want. But the Jews say that ‘azl is a lesser form of infanticide.” He said, “The Jews are lying. If Allaah wants to create (a child) you cannot prevent that.
Narrated by Abu Dawud.
NOW KEEP YOUR BS belief & religious prespective to yourself!!
Secondly
“O Messenger of Allaah, should we not treat sickness?” He said, “Yes, O slaves of Allaah, treat sickness, for Allaah did not send down any disease but He also sent down its cure, except for one disease.” They said, “O Messenger of Allaah, what is it?” He said, “Old age.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 2038; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi.

A senior health official says gunmen have killed four women working on a government polio vaccination campaign in the Pakistan's largest city, Karachi.
Sagher Ahmed, health minister for surrounding Sindh province, says the gunmen on Tuesday also wounded two men who were with the women.
The Taliban have spoken out against polio vaccination in recent months, claiming the health workers are acting as spies for the U.S. and the vaccine itself causes harm.
Ahmed says the shootings took place in a Karachi area populated by ethnic Pashtuns. The Taliban are a Pashtun movement, and many militants are reported to be hiding in these communities in Karachi.
On Monday, police said a gunman killed a volunteer for the World Health Organization's anti-polio campaign in Karachi.
