I disagree with that, wherever there is money to be made, legally or illegally people will flock there.. doesnt reflect on the economic status of their origin country.

But yes, this people should face the law for illegally entering Sri Lanka.

I don't think anyone will go to another country to do business if they get less amount than their country.

You are wrong.

The urban poverty ratio declined sharply from 39.9 to 22.2 and the rural poverty ratio declined rather slowly from 32.9 to 22.2.

And poverty doesnt mean they are destitute. They are just earning below the BPL line but the cost of living is equally low for them to eat three square meals a day and live a contented life.

Indians selling textile arrested

STF officers from Malwaththa camp in Ampara arrested three person while they were merchandising textile at Pandiruppu in Kalmunai police area. They had entered the country on tourist visas.

The three suspects, M Ganesh Kumar, V Arumugam and P C Balamurugan of Tamil Nadu were arrested on Wednesday evening by SI B A S Bandara and a team under his directions , ASP G S K Muruththuttuwegama.

The police also seized two passports, 44 sarees and 54 salvar dresses and some cash. Kalmunai police are investigating.

Like I said, give me a million bucks to work in an oil rig Africa, and I will go, because the money I will be getting is good, but it no ways or mean is Africa more developed than the country I currently live in.
