The police Special Task Force has arrested three (3) Indian nationals in Kalmunai

They had arrived in the country on tourist visas but were engaged in business activities.

Police said that the Indian nationals who were arrested last night are residents of Tamil Nadu.

The three individuals have been handed over to the Kalmunai police for further investigations.

People used to do this a lot in the US too- come on tourist Visa and do business. Because business visa were more tougher to get at one point and tourist visa was far far more simple. But you run the risk...

So when you have business men in China, Pakistan etc and their citizens travel to your country, regardless of what visa they used in this case- they are doing so because there is no " job" opportunities in their country?

TN is one of the few states which has very less unemployment, one can see hoards of people from Bihar and UP earning a decent living at tirupur.

If anyone need to do business there is proper way. Illegally doing business here means they can gain bigger amount than in their country right.

I disagree with that, wherever there is money to be made, legally or illegally people will flock there.. doesnt reflect on the economic status of their origin country.

But yes, this people should face the law for illegally entering Sri Lanka.
