RIP.
Good thing about hit and run attacks like this are it shows that Kashmiri militants are weak to fight in the front anddo not have any chance militarily which is exactly what New York Times said in 1999.
Are you for real, this is the most effective method of guerrilla warfare, hit and run, relocate for next mission.

He didn't say guerilla war.
Most effective is army on the ground. That's how it has been from ever. And he said that Pakistan is incapable of that. So, end result is known. These insurgencies are just needle pricks. That was his point. I hope you might have understood bit of it now.

Well, if you look again, he edited his post to add the rest later.....so save your advise and space.

Pampore attack: Terrorists fled after firing at an army convoy on the Jammu-Srinagar Highway.

SRINAGAR:
HIGHLIGHTS
  1. Two soldiers also injured in attack on army convoy near Srinagar
  2. Terrorists came on a motorcycle, fired at army bus and ran away
  3. Neighbouring areas cordoned off, search operation launched

Three soldiers were killed after an army convoy was attacked by terrorists in Pampore on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway today. Reports said at least two more soldiers were injured in the attack.

The terrorists fired at the army convoy at Kadlabal in Pampore town of Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district this afternoon, the army said. The group of terrorists came on a motorcycle and ran away after the attack, sources said.

Security forces have cordoned off the adjoining residential area and launched search operation to track down the terrorists, he added.

Pampore has been the site of several terror strikes this year. In October, a gun-battle with two terrorists who barged into a government building in Jammu and Kashmir's Pampore ended after nearly 60 hours. Both terrorists were killed.

The same seven-story Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) building was also targeted in a major attack in February. Five soldiers and a civilian were killed then; three terrorists were shot dead.

So did the militants infiltrate the border on motorbikes. !!!
