On the top, it says, "300 km/h".

From my experience, I can confirm that China's HSR is really that smooth and stable.

There is no need to hold on to hand rails, even when the train is speeding at 300 km/h.

On youtube, there are videos uploaded by a Swedish delegation that shows a coin standing while the HSR was speeding. I think the delegation was evaluating China's HSR but I don't remember reading any news after that.

It will helps the coming New Year transportation.
.
Indeed, it does help with the coming Spring Festival a.k.a. Lunar New Year "mass migration" of people back to their hometowns.

I remember as recent as five years ago, our local Aussie news showed lots of people (people mountain people sea?) clogged up at transportation hubs, especially the railway stations.

However, I don't recall the news reporting the same thing last couple of years. I think this is due to the HSR being able to move people quickly and efficiently back to their hometowns. I understand that China schedule more trains during this busy period.

I think getting tickets during the New Year must be a nightmare for the Chinese.

Indeed the new railway system increased the transportation a lot. Fortunately I didn't ever experience the nightmare of mass migration. Every year, I have extra two weeks holiday before Spring Festival, paid. Thanks my boss here, lol.

12.26 is a very special day to many Chinese people. We shall never forget!

This new 2101 J-20 is all over Chinese defense sites now. Is it for real? If true, it is one significant mile stone towards batch production, and J-20s are very likely to be inducted in PLAAF in 2016! Way to go, China!

It is interesting that so many important projects chose to debut in the same day, 12.26!
