Three Bangladeshi nationals sentenced for illegally entering India in Maharashtra's thane

People will always talk about it.

Most of these people have some form of official Indian document. India never truly has documented her population and faces challenges in application of her citizenship law with most of it being used for personal grievances as hinted by the OP.
See the lackadaisical attitude, corruption and votebank politics in India. Despite being Bangladeshis, they got all those documents.

Hence the urgent need for Nationwide NRC.

Unfortunately there seems to be little movement in that regard.

That makes them Indian by law don't you think?

Yes, the delay is worrying but at least there is a realization that its required.
And this realization is only growing and soon it will have enough critical mass for political parties to confidently endorse it.

8 decades to realise documentation of citizens is first step to providing them with legal rights equal to all.

With an atmosphere of hate and mistrust between ethnic and linguistic groups and stark disparities in social fabric, it may prove much worse than the infamous demonetisation drive.
By law, yes. But due to their intentions, morally and ethically speaking, they shouldn't be regarded as Indians.

The law has already deemed their intentions, morality and ethics when it gave them the rights to be Indian.

Terrorists exposing their true colours on this thread. Imagine wanting to kill an illegal migrant. Terrorists!

In fall fairness I wanted to make them ma malakat aymanukum or milk al-yamin.

We have plenty of lost years and decades to our name. I put it down to the time required for a new generation to be born in a truly Free India.

Modi is literally the FIRST PM who was born in a Free India. Some things take time to mature, there is no short cut to that. Maybe if Sardar Patel was PM ......

Compared to 1947, the hate and mistrust have reduced significantly. It has been reducing every since. Its just more open and in your face now due to social media.

Just because you saw it now, does not mean it was born yesterday.

So what are the free India policy in dealing with alleged millions of illegal aliens.

Some shady concentration camps shared above won't be able to handle the sheer scale of the conundrum. And you surely cannot lynch millions either.
Afghan refugee brought down your economy and system .

Afghan refugees brought with them their own economy. No one in Pakistan is insane enough to blame refugees for systematic failure of economic policies.

For now we have no policy.

NRC is the first step towards any policy. For policy making we need accurate numbers.
