Don't know why are u trying to undermine the contribution of India in our freedom fight. There's no need of it

It's not that I am trying to undermine anything. I am stating the fact. Tell me when India directly involved in our freedom fight?

It doesn't really matter whether India helped us for their personal gain or not, fact is we got hugely benefited from it. Thats what matters most.

I recognize their only help as veto in UN by Soviet. Yes I truly recognize this. Without Russian veto our freedom fight could be failed. It really played a vital role in our freedom fight I admit honestly. So yes in this sense I also grateful to them because Soviet veto worked against American propaganda during our freedom fight.

They provided us weapons, gave us training, provided shelters to a large number of our own people and played a great role to make people aware about the barbarism of Pak Army.

They didn't gave us training. They only trained few freedom fighting unit like Mujib bahini, Qaderiya bahini. But rest of our freedom fighters were trained by East Bengal regiment. And also if India gave weapon to Mujib bahini and Qaderiya bahini, then they also ( India) looted all weapons that Niazi force left behind . All belong to us that Indian army looted after independence.

Yes they took our refuge no doubt, but they got sanction from other countries to feed them.

However that's not a big deal too, as a poor nation can't feed such huge refuges.

But every time they and their people act that they saved(!?) us so they are our messiah. That's truly irritating. And also the propaganda of so called India Pakistan war is a real insult to our freedom fight,and surprisingly both India and Pakistan are united on this issue despite their bitter enmity!

Bottom line is surly India helped but it's not nearly as much as they propagate.

I think some BD posters forget that without Indian support, BD freedom fighters would all have been crushed within 1 month by Pakistan Army.

Is it? When India sent their mighty troops if may I ask? What our freedom fighters were doing before direct Indian help came? What was East Bengal regiment doing? They were fighting weren't they? What were they doing before December? Surely fighting against Pakistani armies.

India provided training, arms, supplies and shelter to freedom fighters.

Myanmar at the time was symapathetic to Pakistan, although the Rohingyas in Northern Arakan were helpful.

Without India, they would have had to retreat to remote areas like CHT where they would have made little difference.

Yes they trained some freedom fighters as I said. However the majority freedom fighters were indeed trained by East Bengal regiment the professional armies and I believe the training was superior to BSF training. For the rest nothing to say, as already replied to Neptune.
