This Table will Hurt Much But is needed for "Constructive" Talk

to be honest i can see both india and pakistan sitting on their side of the fence for the forseable future and simply spitting venom at each other.

i doubt either country will continue to sponser terrorism in the other as both hopefully has seen how the taliban turned US training and dollars to 9/11.

In the forseable future it will be about diplomacy and who has more money. Unnless offcourse someone comes up with a weapon that makes nukes obselte but is environmentally friendly. In such a case one might occupy the other. Even then the strategic equation will return to the same as it was before the war.

no point really.

.
I don't think there is room for conventional war between india and Pakistan. Stop this drama or be ready for MAD.

.
Agreed. The idea of all out war does not fit in the new global interconnectedness, and there is no place for it between nuclear powers.

.
Nukes then and now.

Yesterday 6th Aug was the anniversary of the Hiroshima nuclear attack by the United States. Eventually 135,000 Japanese perished.

If India, or even Pakistan starts a war by launching a nuke, the economic sanctions from the world would be enough to make sure that the aggressor pays for that.

If however a full fledged war is ongoing and one of the engaged countries decides to nuke a strategic none populated location, the world might react differently.

a single nuclear strike anywhere in the subcontinent will have its damage to both India and Pakistan and a number of others regardless of its position, so it goes against the sane mind to even consider risking an all out war let alone a nuclear strike. I find it laughable from the table that India can annihilate Pakistan and receive international reputation.

.
India will not attack/invade Pakistan all-out, we have too much to loose, period. Really worst case scenario would be surgical air-strikes or a limited air-strike followed by prompt intervention by international community halting the hostilities. If any country goes nuclear either India or Pakistan, it will be game over for both.

India just need to keep the building up its economy and military and in 10-15 years time the nuisance game played by Pakistan will become too costly for it to play.
