I too question why Trump appeals, though I also understand the reasons too. But like you, I don't vote in US elections. It's not for us to decide, even if we are allowed to question their rational.

Mind you, plenty of people think other world leaders are clowns too. Ask Eastern Europe what they think of Russia's Putin. Or what Japan and the Philippines think of China's Xi.

But just as the world lives with the choice of the Russians or the choice of the Chinese party that set Xi upon the world, so to do we remain questioning alone, for we don't chose what the Americans do.

True, but an a$$hat in a powerful country that can effect more than just their neighbors is quite a scary prospect. Zimbabwe has had an a$$hat for quite some time, but Mugabe isn't too much of an issue because of his limited reach (and a host of domestic issues). Same with Venezuela. Trump would be.

I voted labor in our elections, and Sanders would be just another Labor party member if in Europe, but I wouldn't vote for him in US elections because I don't think his economic platforms would work in the US' situation. There's too many people for the type of social welfare programs he favors, it's too costly and House and Senate republicans wouldn't support it at the expense of higher taxes or changes to the defense budget.

The thing is the establishment. America as a 2 party system, Democrat and Republican (Left and Right Wings) , isn't feasible. You have elites on both sides cutting deals for their interests.

This is where Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders are making a stand. Donald Trump is a nobody in the political scene. His rise to fame came when he spoke at CPAC, the Conservative Convention held every year, thanks to donating close to $150k each year. He established an electorate based on the radical Obama "birth certificate", an issue that was fanned by the Fox News media to derail any talk of Obama's policies.

Bernie Sanders is running for the Democratic ticket. He was never a democrat politician. He was always independent. But he knows, as did Paul Ryan/ Ron Paul and his son Rand Paul, that they would never be able to contend the Presidential Elections as Independents.

There is easy ability to establish another "Independent" Party. One that shuns away the elite of the two established parties. But the only thing holding back is the ability to bring forth candidates. There are many many groups that have grassroots, but bring these groups together under a banner is not going to happen anytime soon.

Trump and Bernie have an electorate that is totally separate from the establishment. The problem is for each to create a party or organization around it.

A possible presidential candidate who goes on to say that Mexicans are rapists and all Muslims should be banned from entering the country isn't particularly looking after the interests of a country. In fact, it is the most stupid and ignorant thing to utter. This is hardly an intellectual debate on policies. It is rather a clown festivity where the candidates are scolding each other and resorting to blame games. Please don't try to convince me that this is a normal thing and that I ought to be impressed.

As for 9/11, American policy makers should have thought about that before arming Jihadis in Afghanistan during the Cold War and elsewhere around the world. They did the same thing in Iraq and Syria and just look at the entire Middle East engulfed with the ISIS problem today. You reap what you sow. Blaming the minorities for problems created by American policy makers doesn't make any sense.

Like I said, I'm going to celebrate the day Trump gets elected. America deserves a loony and a madman like Trump who threatens world peace as well as the American future. The way I see it, more Americans ought to vote for Trump. Arrogant and angry people deserve Trump.
