Deobandis & wahabis are the real enemies of Islam,in India too these idiots are famous for making trouble.I hope the Pakistani govt crack down on these Masjids

I am a ghari-muqallid 'Salafi', I haven't caused any problems either. But yes, the Salafi methodology does unfortunately allow for easier twisting of the religion since it gives more freedom for interpretation. The ideology we call 'Wahabi' is an example of some of this twisting.

Regardless, sectarianism has destroyed us and will continue to do so, Taliban or no Taliban. By blaming one sect for all problems in such blanket statements, we're not doing anyone any good.

I don't understand. Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) knew each and every hypocrite living in Madina yet he didn't apply any takfir on them or that on People of Makkah after the conquering it. . Then why Deobandi or Wahabis does that ? @Zarvan

Those who do all that (fatwa of takfeer etc) are no practicing Muslims (Deboandi, Wahabi are just School of thoughts) in real sense but political mullah. We cant expect nothing from those who don't follow the teachings of their own Prophet (PBUH), who, as you have very correctly pointed out, never awarded the certificates of takfeer to the munafiqeen.

There is nothing in the Salafi and Deobandi ideologies themselves that allow them to do Takfir. Some people corrupt them to justify and facilitate their own abuse of religion. As for why they do it, ask them, I don't do it and neither do I agree with it.

@syedali73 has explained it precisely. Takfir is indeed a very powerful political tool used by political mullahs.. Some of the ideas that lead to this problem may have once been legitimate religious misunderstandings, but at this point they're almost exclusively used for political ends.

It's beyond a misunderstanding or misinterpretation now, it's intentional manipulation.
