Humanity is above nation. The Nation State is an artificial concept that came only recently through the French Revolution of the 1700s and it came out to overthrow monarchy and feudalism, things that exist in India even now in various manifestations. India is secular in its constitution not because of its majority community but because of the opportunity some of the main people especially Nehru ( though he had his faults ) and Ambedkar made the constitution so. The fascist government ruling now has many of its elements wanting to replace the current generally progressive constitution with that foul, anti-human book Manusmriti which is the foundational text for Hindutvadi terrorists and oppressors. I declare then that the 500 million Hindutvadis be kicked out of india perhaps to Antarctica and to the hottest parts of Australia or they can take their Manusmriti and board their "ancient" Vedic spaceships and go live on Pluto.
Nationalism is an idiotic and unnatural concept which the famous Indian intellectual Rabindranath Tagore said should be eliminated and said is the cause for India's cultural misery. Communism too desires a humanity without national borders and without the militaries designated now to defend those borders even if the internal system of a country is largely rotten or idiotic whether this be in USA, India, Britain, Pakistan and so on.
In 1947 Nehru and Ambedkar should have gone truly progressive and far-seeing and made the nation's anthem to be a simplified, elaborated and desi'fied version of the leftist song '
The Internationale' instead of those stupid, anti-inclusive, isolationist, frog-in-the-well and Hindutvadi songs Vande Mataram and Jana Gana Mana. The Internationale has been the song of various Communist and Socialist movements and countries including of the USSR for the initial years until Stalin changed it I think. If Nehru and Ambedkar had brought in The Internationale in 1947 then indians in 2022 would have been humanists, rational, sensitive, gentle, evolved, empathetic and their society would have been progressive, harmonious and advanced instead of the daily grind of Hindu-Muslim mandir-masjid Love Jihad.
