"This is not your bloody area"

The Chinis were trying to be sneaky, got found out and sent home. It is a classic land grabbing tactic used even by criminals. They would first check your alertness and if you are not on guard, eventually they would start establishing their authority on that land and over time it becomes their property. Good job by the IA soldiers to push them out.

Yes,but the ones you were fighting were not equipped with man portable ATGMs like Milan 3 and Kornet E,were they??
Nope.. But they are using RPGs and RR guns (apart from AAGs)... And we using old type 59s.

I never did military service. But which part you do not agree with??Which part is totally contrary to ground reality??The Eastern command do have 12 mountain divisions (or is it 11) under its command and the formations that I mentioned were being raised for the Mountain Strike Corps. What is there not to believe in my statement??It's all in public domains for crying out loud.
its about capability ... India army has size but it's like an elephant... India's operation brass tacks (2003) .. Where you tried to mass your troops on Pak border took you months and 1800 casualities ..

Deployment in mountainous terrain is harder... Also the Chinese have more advantage on our side... Major assets .. Transportation access and infrastructure and heavy weapons (infra for all that.... Something india lacks)... They can mobilise much more faster and in bigger numbers than india..

The Indo-China LAC region was disarmed as per 1993(?) agreement. Neither side is allowed to carry firearms while patrolling the disputed region. So the worst that could happen is a uniformed, high altitude desi version of Crows Zero, with sticks and baseball bats replaced by military boots and trenching tools.
I think I saw a gun on the back of one of the soldier/officer. If no weapons, then its good. Please confirm.

See??Even you had to use the lighter 59s for obvious reasons.I won't even mention the herculean efforts needed to keep a mech-armor formation up and running and number of support vehicles necessary for doing the same.

Fair enough. But you are forgetting one key point here - that the formations that took their times were the strike formations, which are based deep inside the hinterland.Same is not true for the Pivot formations, which are literally stationed on location, through the year.

Can not argue there. And that is exactly why I said that LAC is totally different ball game from than TAR.The TAR,being a plateau,is far more suitable for heavy traffics, cause that region being traversable even without roads. But there are few roads that lead to the LAC,to front where the actual fight is to be fought!!Just come visit this place sometimes to know what I'm talking, nice scenery too.
And besides, the TAR is a featureless plateau, that means there would be no way for the Chinese forces to be able to conceal their preparations. One should also take this into account.
But yes,all said and done, the PLA is still in a rather significant advantageous situation when compared to their Indian counterparts. And I'm not giving this figures to make us look like unbeatable or something like that,No,what I'm trying to convey here is that it won't be a cakewalk this time,as many expect here it to be.

Right. It was to be brought up to 12 by 2019 or so,when the MSC becomes operational.I mixed things up.

@Argon Prime @third eye

Looking at the numbers, supposed things went bad, and shooting started, and God forbid all Indians (outnumbered) get killed.

How long before those behind get to know?

How much inside, and in what numbers can the Chinese push in the interim?

Whenever patrols meet up, information is relayed in real time.

HQs get to know immediately and is monitored continuously. As a part of monitoring besides other things additional communication back up kicks in.

The Chinese usually follow a process of gradually inching , occupying grazers huts and shifting huts forwards each season before the winters set in. The next season or sometimes earlier patrols are sent to establish new lines. These ' incursions' are expected & pre empted.

Discussing the rest here is not considered appropriate.

If you believed an entire battalion of foreign troops was intruding into your soil, instead of crying and screaming like that guy in the video, why not do what any self-respecting country would do, and forcibly escort them out of the area?

And yes, I'm telling you from a Chinese perspective, it looks like that Indian guy is both terribly scared and trying to start a fight.

Who the Hell screams their head off like that without wanting a fight?
Yes the indin guy sounded very nervous and was stuttering. Its all in the video, if one doesnt wanna believe ,who would care.
Why chinese men were so cool and calm? That was the sign of confidence ,not panicking in the face of a potential agressive face off. They werent even budging from their places yet giving back calm responses. They were pretty much training noobs.
Amazing professionalism and show of good language by chinese.

Never mind, you would have found some other excuse to bash the Indian side, even if the situation had been the opposite.

I guess now when the PLA is sending such large number of soldiers for patrolling the area,IA should follow suit.

huzoor, also please stop your hate preach on some threads, no body going to buy any more.If at least 10 indians criticize u on ur posts shows that a self introspection is really required from your side.

Some people like him just delude themselves as socialist to hide their anger of why so many people are patriotic where he is not....So you can well understand his sentiments...

.
Exactly.

It is obvious which side is being belligerent from watching that video.

Ironically, it is the vastly weaker Indian side that is looking for a fight.

And when you're looking for a fight, you're guaranteed to find one eventually.

A situation like that is a tinderbox.

We weren't created by Britain like India was, so we don't have English as our national link language like India has.

Our national link language is Chinese. Not a Western European language.

We have no reason to be afraid of you. You want a war, youll get one.Well fight to the last man, bullet, and atomic warhead if necessary.
