This is no joke....Indian PSA Discourages Public Defecation

at the end of the video, all the indians were happy that the poo went down the loo

.
We remember Jinnah claiming to create Pakistan as a safe haven for muslims of the subcontinent....turns out Pakistan ended up becoming a safe passage to heaven for muslims instead...

Shit changes...literally and metaphorically!!!

At least Pakistan has toilets, now stay on topic apu.

. .
Its only logical that a country with such extensive poverty, the poor will have to relieve themselves in the open...Unfortunate but true!

As people come out of poverty and education level increases. this should change...
The government for its part should build more public toilets, but then again, if a poor person doesnt have money to feed himself, I find it hard to believe that he/she will spend a rupee to use public facilities...

Why are you talking sense here....dont you know this thread has been created with only one aspect in mind ....to bash india.Anyway yup you are right.....sanitation is a major problem in india and indian government is dragging its feet in this matter, its election time and still no party has addressed this problem openly.....take into account the hundreds i see living in small steel tent roofs...where the hell will they get money to build a toilet.I guess the best approach is to build more public toilets, maintain those public toilets, spread awareness among the poor to use them.....and side by side get a project of building free private toilets in homes that do not have one..

Even some poor fellow try to go an extra mile and use those PTs most of them are in pathetic condition and are if hardly any use.:tdown::tdown:

I've seen few cases in rural areas where they have every facility within their house but still they go out for the things in the open. especially the older ones. it has a lot to do with the habits and not with the availability of the facilities.

. .
Apparently not...

Want me to show you a report that claims 44% dont have access to toilets in Pakistan?

Rock...meet glass house..

You guys already opened a thread about it and @HRK already spoke in detail about it so spare yourself.

Well internal surveys that were shown the other day are clearly fragmented because the world bank report say otherwise. . but thats not the topic here so leave it.

No one said Pakistan is first world do not make stuff up now. Pakistan has its own problems of which Pakistanis are very much aware.

I kid you not...going into one of those Sulabh Shauchalayas is like asking for a death wish!!

I think the whole caste system ingrained with the concept of cleaning toilets or keeping the toilets clean, as a "lowly" task or reserved for lower caste folks has a lot to do with it I think...
I swear the caste system has fucked us a millions ways and more..

Well so then why the smug attitude and laughing emoticons for a problem thats very much also a part of your own house (read Pakistan)..

and then you wonder why Indians find every opportunity to knock Pakistan and Pakistanis down a notch..
