Tamils opposed unconstitutional Hindi imposition by Hindiá , they have nothing against Hindi or other inferior Indian languages.

Comparing temporary banners put up by Tamil individuals/private organisation/tearing off Tamil picture pasted on a car's windscreen to celebrate Pongal with official Central govt's Hindi names in railway station etc, shows either you lost your head or your stupidity. This is nothing but Kannada hatred and envy of Tamils

1) Tamil Nadu is more literate and more industrialized than Hindi states because of good planning and hard work. Yes, companies make lots of profit in Tamil Nadu. Indian government taxes them and take the tax money to New Delhi. Then sends a small amount to Tamil Nadu as grant and for road and railways. Rest of the money is given to Hindi states. Hind-ians plundered more wealth from Tamil Nadu than the British..

For every Rs. 100 India takes from Tamjil Nadsu, it gives Tamil Nadu Rs. 45 back. At the same times it gives the Hindiu state Uttar Pradesh Rs. 176 for ecvery Rs. 100 it gets in taxes. Essentially Tamil Nadu is subsidizing Hindi states billions of Rupees. Other South IndiAn states and Maharashtra also subsidize Hindi states.

PS: I am not here to call names or hurt people sentiments. I am only showing how language politics is a double edged sword.

I understand language is only a means of communication and nothing else. As for cauvery water there is nothing anti Tamil Nadu or anti Tamil in it. There is no water and its still just January summer is not even here.

You are free to visit and check it out yourself. Its a debatable topic should we save water for drinking or should we use it for farming? would like to know your views?

Simply dont keep talking rubbish of India v/s Tamilnadu. I do see a lot of seeman fans doing this. Before making a judgement just see the point from the other persons shoes and understand.

It is interesting I have seen some documentaries in western countries they always show South Indian being very socially aware i.e social work , volunteer work and looking after environment

So it gave me some idea they were quite educated and socially aware of their environment and world

I think the documentary I remember watching was something to do with creating electricity / gas from existing material in farms and it was quite impressive

It is not just South but most states in India eat various meats quite a lot. The only meat they refrain from eating is beef but still it is consumed widely across India. There are few regions where this meat eating and cow killings are strongly opposed by certain groups but our mainstream media primarily focuses on these and portrays them as if the whole of India is facing a similar wrath

Tamils don't make most money in the region but South India along with Maharashtra is richer when compared to many North Indian states as leaders in South, West and certain central Indian states focus on developmental politics while states like WB, UP, Bihar etc are caste based politics.

While most people on PDF think Tamil Nadu wants to secede from India, the fact is Tamils consider themselves as hardcore Indians, infact more than many other states in India. I live with a Tamil currently here in the US and he or his friends treat me or my friends just as one among themselves
